I have been to a few different tint shops in the area and nobody has beaten Film Pro! Working with Joe was fantastic! Loved that he was able to fit me into his schedule within a few days of reaching out to him. Communication was clear and easy. I liked that he has all of his information on his website unlike many other tint shops in the area. I highly recommend him! I think his prices are extremely reasonable and will definitely be making the long drive down to see him again for future vehicles! Pictures don’t do it justice on how great it looks on my 2019 Honda Civic Type R. I went with the Rayno S7 all the way around. 20% on the side 4 windows, 35% on the rear hatch, and 50% on the front windshield.
If you are looking for a quality install, please read. This review is for someone like me because I wished I would have known. FYI I tried to settle it with the owner but it did not lead to a win-win solutions. Short version: I paid $513 for a full tint. I had multiple visible flaws in my film. Brought it back to Joe only to get attacked by his frustration. After having a very traumatic experience, I decided to get it redone elsewhere and asked for a refund, which he refused. The time it took for Joe to take his frustration out on me was about the same amount of time it took to get my front windshield removed by someone else. Joe took a gamble that I wouldn’t care. I understand customer service isn’t his strongest suit, but common decency, and delivering quality service are minimal expectations I did not receive. Detailed version: I have had bad services before and not once has it bothered me this much to share my experience. I am not new to getting a vehicle fully tinted but I am new to having poor quality installation. I was naïve to think you get what you pay for. My experience with Joe was the most unpleasant, from quality to customer service. I brought my car to Joe since it looked like he had good reviews and experience with ceramic film. What I didn’t know was that he would allow major defects in the film to pass and give me a hard-time for mentioning it. Majority of the windows had an abundance of dirt trapped between the film. My front windshield had distortion/blemishes all across and it was dead center in my field of view. I was very disappointed but everyone can have a bad day so I gave him an opportunity to fix it. I took time out of my day again and drove a long way. He didn’t acknowledge my concern, or take a look at any of the defects. He stood from 10 feet away and insisted that it looked fine from the outside. The outside!??? He then took his frustration and anger out on me, going from saying “you are picky aren’t you!”, to “just get out of your head”, “stop looking at it” and “I like to filter out my customers”, like I was asking for too much. I never had a chance to even finish a sentence. I can’t speak for everyone but I never planned to take my brand new car to a professional for a “good enough” job. How do you not look at something that is an obstruction to your view? He refused to redo my front windshield and suggested he remove it for a partial refund. The next day, he sent a text apologizing, quoting "...I'll redo whatever windows you want. We'll get it right for you.", However, I do not trust him with my car again. What if I went back and had to deal with another episode? But since his text sounded sincere, the only way to "get it right" by me is for him to give me the refund for my front windshield. Joe refused right away because he wanted me to bring my car back, AGAIN, in his words "I have offered to accommodate you in anyway and you are the one refusing what I'm offering". He manipulating me to think I was the difficult one, AGAIN. I gave Joe the utmost respect and patience only to be treated like I meant nothing to his business. I took a day and half off work to bring my car to Joe but this is not worth the stress I’ve dealt with in the past two weeks for a job that should have only lasted half a day. After two weeks of living with the issues, I finally had Automotive Visions remove it. Their technician explained that Joe did not fully squeegee the water out which caused the distortion. He should have redone it before taking the risk of the customer seeing it and it becoming an issue. I saved the front film for Joe, I don’t expect anything.
I was convinced the moment I spoke with Scott on the phone. Scott was even more impressive in person. He was able to schedule me between a busy schedule. Felt right at home. I will definitely refer him. Great family business and Scott appears to enjoy his customers just as much as he enjoys his work. Great combination!!!
