Master Applied Coatings shares their Tallahassee location with Vinnies Airstream service. We have been a customer ofVinnie‘s for quite some time but this past June we had master applied coatings work their”Ceramic Magic” on our 2023 Airstream Globetrotter. To say that we were surprised with just how beautiful our Airstream turned out would be a huge understatement. Not only does it make it shine like it’s brand new, but it also helps keep bugs and other road filth to an absolute minimum. When you do get dirt or bugs, it comes off quite easily, and that alone is worth the price of admission.

We couldn’t be happier with the with ceramic coating on our 2021 Airstream Classic. Briston and his team were very professional with attention to detail. Our trailer looks better now than it did on the showroom floor and we have assurance of protection from the elements for years to come.

Master Applied Coating coated our 2021 Oliver Elite II #815 in September, 2024. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I was impressed with the staff from the beginning. We arrived when they opened in the morning. There were seven Airstreams in the shop in various stages of upgrades or coatings. They photographed the entire Oliver as they explained the process. We needed to leave the trailer for several days to allow the coating to cure. So we left it 5 days as we drove to Mississippi to visit family. We returned then to pick up the trailer. Several things impressed me. First they had plugged the trailer in as we had food in the fridge as they had promised. Second there was a white board on an easel sitting in front of the trailer with a list of the steps in the process of coating it. As each step was completed there was a check mark applied. Third, they went through the process and then had me inspect the trailer as they instructed me how to care for it, as it finished curing and how to wash it after that, stating I should never wax it. I shouldn’t touch the surface until it was finished curing, but traveling with it shouldn’t affect it. They assisted me in hooking it up, checked to see if we had any other questions and to call if we thought of any. We left after an hour, heading north to Montgomery, AL to stay overnight at the COE campground arriving after dark. Hooking up electricity after dark, i took a look at the front of the trailer and it was covered with crushed bugs. During the night it rained, but I found the next morning that 99% of the bugs had washed off durning the night. We left and camped at a COE outside of Nashville for a week, until the neighbor at home called and said all the electricity was off due to Hurricane Helene arriving. We hooked up and heading home arriving as the winds had died down to 50 mph gusts. By the time we got home to Lexington, the trailer was covered with wet leaves stuck to it. I backed it down the driveway and parked it. Hooked up a generator for the house, then got a hose and sprayed off the trailer removing most of the dirt and all the leaves. It’s been 3 weeks so I’m ready to wash the trailer, foaming it first then using the two bucket method to wash it. The shine Applied Coating has been really impressive and I would highly recommend it.
