Ceramic Pro 9H: warranty and installer guide
Reviewed
Ceramic Pro 9H is a product used in different installer packages. The Silver and Gold package names determine the published warranty; the 9H name alone does not tell you the coverage, preparation or total installed price.
Manufacturer documents
- Published warranty
- Silver: five years. Gold: vehicle lifetime, subject to annual service. The July 2024 document reduces missed-service coverage to two years for Silver and five for Gold, measured from the last consecutive inspection.
- Required maintenance
- Annual service is a warranty condition for Silver and Gold. A universal inspection or service price is not published in the reviewed document.
- Installer requirements
- The manufacturer’s US package example offers professional 9H installation. Confirm the installer and package on the manufacturer’s directory before treating a shop’s logo as certification.
- Package construction
- The US Honolulu example lists one 9H paint layer for Silver and four for Gold, with separate topcoat and other-surface inclusions. This is an example package, not a promise that every shop quote matches it.
- Installed price
- No national installed price is established by these documents. Ask for correction, surfaces, tax and annual service as separate quote lines.
What changes the buying decision
Compare a written Silver quote with a written Gold quote before comparing layer counts. The recurring service obligation can matter as much as the headline warranty. A Bronze or Top Coat package should not be assumed to contain 9H. If a shop proposes ION instead, compare its separate seven-year and lifetime conditions.
Our comparison is based on the linked documents, not a coating test. Confirm current terms and regional coverage before booking.

Questions for the installer
- Does the quote explicitly name 9H, Silver or Gold, and each coated surface?
- What work and cost does the annual service include?
- Which paint correction steps are included before the first layer?
