Ceramic Pro ION: warranty and installer guide
Reviewed
Ceramic Pro ION combines a base coating and a top coating in a professional package. ION and Ultimate ION have different warranty terms. Obtain the package name and the ongoing service cost before comparing them with 9H.
Manufacturer documents
- Published warranty
- ION: seven years. Ultimate ION: vehicle lifetime. Under the July 2024 warranty, missing annual service changes these to three and seven years respectively, from the last consecutive inspection.
- Required maintenance
- Both packages require annual service. Its cost is unknown until the installer supplies it; a lifetime headline does not remove that obligation.
- Installer requirements
- Ceramic Pro offers ION through its Elite Dealer network. ION is not presented as a consumer bottle for DIY installation.
- Coating system
- ION uses Base and Top coatings. Request the layer configuration for the specific package, rather than assuming every ION quote is Ultimate ION.
- Installed price
- The reviewed manufacturer sources do not establish a current national installed price. A dated shop quote is needed for preparation, surfaces and ongoing service.
What changes the buying decision
A useful comparison keeps ION and Ultimate ION on separate quote lines. Ask what happens to coverage if you move away from the dealer or miss a service. The warranty defines a conditional remedy; it is not independent evidence that a finish will stay unchanged for the vehicle’s entire life.
Our comparison is based on the linked documents, not a coating test. Confirm current terms and regional coverage before booking.
