Opti-Coat Pro is presented as a single-layer professional coating with a five-year headline warranty. The current US/Canada terms shorten coverage for older vehicles. Vehicle age belongs in the comparison before you pay for a package.

- Five years for vehicles up to five model years old; three years for six-to-ten-model-year vehicles. Vehicles older than ten model years are not eligible under these terms.

- Follow Opti-Coat care requirements. The manufacturer’s range page says annual maintenance is not required for warranty terms up to ten years; this does not remove washing and care obligations.
- Installer requirements
- An Authorized Opti-Coat Installer registers coverage. Keep the confirmation email and original invoice.
- Coating construction
- Pro is described as a single-layer ceramic coating; Pro+ adds another coating layer.
- Coverage limits
- The terms exclude commercial use, matte/non-clear-coated finishes and specified physical or washing damage. Coverage is non-transferable.
- Installed price
- Unknown nationally. The professional package price must include the agreed correction and surfaces.
What changes the buying decision
For a car six to ten model years old, Pro and Pro Plus both have a three-year term in the reviewed warranty. In that case, compare the actual coating system and preparation rather than paying solely for the five-versus-seven-year headline. Obtain confirmation for your model year in writing.
