Opti-Coat Pro3: warranty and installer guide
Reviewed
Opti-Coat Pro3 has a conditional lifetime option and a ten-year alternative. Its published $350 annual maintenance condition makes the long-term bill part of the buying decision. It is a different system from Pro and Pro Plus.
Manufacturer documents
- Published warranty
- Lifetime for vehicles up to five model years old with required annual maintenance; ten years if that maintenance is waived. Six-to-ten-model-year vehicles receive five years; older vehicles are ineligible.
- Required maintenance
- Lifetime coverage requires $350 yearly maintenance by an Approved Installer. The ten-year alternative does not retain the lifetime term.
- Installer requirements
- The product is restricted to Exclusive Authorized Installers. Retain the warranty registration confirmation and invoice.
- Coating construction
- The manufacturer describes a four-layer Silicon Carbide system. Pro and Pro+ are separate products.
- Coverage limits
- Non-transferable; excludes commercial use and matte/non-clear-coated finishes.
- Installed price
- Unknown nationally. The maintenance charge does not establish the initial correction or coating price.
What changes the buying decision
Five required annual services at the published $350 rate would add $1,750; ten would add $3,500. These are arithmetic examples, not observed bills or a promise that the fee stays unchanged. Put the service cost alongside the installation quote and ask what each visit includes before choosing the lifetime option.
Our comparison is based on the linked documents, not a coating test. Confirm current terms and regional coverage before booking.
